Shipment Register

Everything that is moving, across three owning systems · inbound supplier freight (i3), outbound customer shipments (ops2), inter-location transfers (i3 module 07) · 74 active · AED 786K in motion · 5 exceptions

This register is a view, not a table. i3 writes only the inbound rows. Outbound rows are mirrored read-only from ops2 and transfer rows from module 07, because materialising them here would create a fourth writer for facts three other systems already own. Every row links out to its owner, and the Ledger column shows what each shipment actually posted. ops2 feed →

The Ledger column is the point of the page. A shipment that moved stock produced ledger rows; a shipment that did not, did not. The voided duplicate shows 0 rows, which is the visible proof that ops2's duplicate-shipment voiding did not double-deduct. A shipment showing units but 0 rows and no legitimate reason is a drift case, and the daily reconciler opens one automatically.

Porterex is 3.2x over SLA. Every lost shipment posts LOST_IN_TRANSIT and holds inventory value until the claim resolves, so a carrier lost rate is an inventory-accuracy problem, not only a service problem.

One register, three owners

i3 writes only the inbound rows. Supplier freight, sample receipts and RTS-to-supplier are module 05's, because i3 owns the supplier pipeline (master plan authority matrix: "PO/PI/production status = i3"). Everything else is mirrored.

ops2 owns dispatch and AWB. Direct dispatch, refulfill, duplicate-void, NDR, RTO and COD are ops2 facts. i3 consumes them as signed events and mirrors them here read-only. i3 never books an outbound AWB.

Module 07 owns transfers. Store transfers and replenishment have their own state machine with 2N ledger postings; this page shows them and links out, and does not duplicate the state.

CREATE VIEW shipment_register AS
  SELECT 'inbound', … FROM inbound_shipments
UNION ALL
  SELECT 'outbound', … FROM ops2_shipment_mirror
UNION ALL
  SELECT 'transfer', … FROM transfer_shipments

A view, never a table. Materialising it would
create a fourth writer for facts three other
modules already own, and the fourth writer
always drifts.

Degradation. If ops2 is down the register shows inbound and transfers with a stale banner and a mirror age; the ops2 rows are not deleted, they are marked stale. If module 07 is unavailable, transfers drop out the same way. i3's own inbound rows are always live, because i3 is their source.
